So I’ve reached a point where I really need to get my focus under control. I work remotely, and lately I’ve been jumping between tasks without actually finishing anything. I tried a couple of random productivity apps, but either they felt too complicated or I just stopped using them after a few days. I’m starting to think the problem is that I don’t know how to choose the right one in the first place. There are so many options with timers, blockers, trackers… it’s confusing. How do you actually pick something that fits your routine and doesn’t feel like extra work?

I was in a very similar situation not long ago, and what helped me was understanding what exactly I needed first — not what the app offers, but what problem I’m trying to solve. I came across a list of apps to stop procrastinating and it gave me a clearer picture of different types of tools. Some focus on blocking distractions, others on tracking time or building habits. I realized I personally needed something simple with a timer and light restrictions. After trying a couple from that list, I stuck with one that didn’t overload me with features.apps to stop procrastinating It’s not perfect, but it fits into my day without feeling forced, and that made a big difference over time.

It’s interesting how many choices there are now when it comes to productivity tools. Sometimes having too many options can make the decision even harder than the original problem. I’ve noticed people often experiment for a while before settling on something that works for them, and even then they might switch later. It seems like finding the right approach is more of a process than a one-time decision.
